I recently had a successful cake-baking endeavor. Banana cake: and please hold the judgment until you have made the following recipe...forget afternoon delight, I would take this tasty treat any day.
You will need: Yellow Cake mix (I prefer the Duncan Hines), mash one VERY ripe banana and add to mix.
Whip heavy cream and one box instant banana pudding into submission.
Layer banana slices in between cake layers (about 2 bananas lightly coated in lemon juice)
frost heavily.
eat.
This cake actually tastes better after its been in the fridge for a day. yum.
