Book Review

I am going to purchase some new reading material. Suggestions? I have not yet read "Who's Afraid of Post Modernism?" Sydney, this is your time to shine.

good idea! i haven't finished that book yet-let's read it together!
if you want art theory we have "air guitar" by dave hickey, or "deep design" by libby lumpkin...let's see....what else (i actually am really excited to start reading the living by dillard over break!) but if you are coming to the symposium in march you should definitely read james elkins' the object stares back or the strange position (relationship?) of religion and art
i will list more if i can think of any....we should all read a book together!

First of all....I cannot believe that there is really a person named Libby Lumpkin. Was that why Kayo always called me that? I thought it was just a nickname.

Second, Dan showed me James Elkins' book "On The Strange Place of Religion in Contemporary Art" and I am very interested in reading it.

love billy collins. and secondly you must read THE LIVING by Dillard. EXCELLENT! I have been waiting to discuss this with someone. I have a great paper I found dealing with the eco-theology of Dillard.

Santa is bringing me Elkins and Billy Collins for Christmas....in the flesh! So let us discuss Elkins, or something as relevant, come January.
