I'm sorry, but I don't get it. Is this like PFF as in an onomatopoeia? Or does it stand for something? I'm confused... help....

PFF's are goals that one wants to get done over a given time period. Lauren stole the concept from her work. They call it 30, 60, 90's. We call it PFF, Peter F____ Frampton... One is supposed to have goals to accomplish over the next 30 days, 60 days, and 90 days. As you can see from mine...I did 2 weeks. It's some what lax for now...as is anything nesbit. But we thought it would be a good idea for us nesbitters to have goals and to hold each other accountable to those goals. Oddly enough I chose you, Libby YOU! Long ago when this concept was just a fetus. So think of some shit you want to get done in the next few months and I'll stalk you until you do it.

Eleanor: 30 days (as I can barely think long term...)
-running 3x/week
-finish some of the 10 books I am currently reading.
-write about art, why I love art and disagree with minimalism and why I love independence
-finish editing resume
-finish documenting,editing, printing portfolio
-packing to move everything home to SD
-sketching/tracing (begin work on "The People We Love exhibition)
-Madrid: research universities, galleries, artists, email John Silvas and Chris Anderson
-email Duncan Simcoe

OK. These are they as of today, May 17, 2008. I actually do have more long term goals but they are rough and I will tweak them prio to posting.

Lauren's PFF:

30 Days:

-finish album cover for Ivan & Alyosha...portfolio worthy.
-prep senior show work for another exhibition
-make at least 2 new legit art contacts
-strong, working idea for a new body of work
-look for and take art classes...such as figure studies.

60 days:

-install a show somewhere (!)
-garage studio fully set up. (I would like to make a few additions, such as a printmaking space)

90 days:
-learn a language. I've been thinking that I would like to re-learn Spanish. I'm serious about this.

That is it for now...

Ok, let's see:

30: Relax in Hawaii. Fill out application to sell work at New Seasons. Set up new studio space. Write summer reading list. Read. Walk. Make something for Molly. Remember not to feel guilty about God.

60: Make a shload of coffee cozies. Refinish studio stool. Read more. Eat food, not too much, mostly plants. Continue building relationships with artists at Imago.

90 (and beyond): Pay off debt incurred by Hawaii trip. Visit Monterey. Build a tree-house. Keep reading. Keep walking. Keep making. Hold a Violin.
